Top Universities in Mexico for Electrical Engineering

Over the past decade, Mexico has been strenuously promoting higher education. Among those fields that are heavily emphasized are the engineering fields, especially electronic and electrical engineering. This is because of the large influx of foreign investment and foreign manufacturing companies. For some of the larger corporations like GE, GM and others, hiring graduates from Mexican universities is very profitable. They get the qualifications of an engineer at a fraction of the price they would have to pay to graduates from other economically developed countries. However, there are also advantages to foreign students studying an engineering degree in Mexico, this primarily being in a lower cost.
