Obtain your undergraduate degree in a business related field. This will expand your business knowledge and prepare you for your Graduate Management Admissions Test, GMAT.
Gain experience in a business environment. Most MBA programs require applicants to have work experience. Volunteer, complete internships or work in an environment where you will increase your business and entrepreneurial skills.
Maintain a high grade point average, GPA. If your undergraduate GPA is too low, you may not get into an MBA program. Never let your grade point average drop below 3.2. Strive to keep your GPA at 3.5 or higher as an undergraduate student.
Apply to an MBA program. Include reference letters, work experience, undergraduate transcripts, volunteer experience, your admissions essay and GMAT scores. Complete a formal interview with MBA administrators.
Complete your MBA training and obtain your degree. Make sure that tuition and book fees are paid on time to avoid lapses in earning an MBA. Meet with a school counselor regularly to review and discuss your progress towards achieving your MBA degree.
