How to Take the SAT After Attending Community College

Though typically taken by high school juniors and seniors, the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) assesses the college readiness of students of any age. Community college students who wish to transfer to universities often wish to prove their academic abilities in any way possible. Though most universities place a higher emphasis on grades than SAT scores, high scores improve a transfer student's chance of university acceptance. However, many schools require no SAT scores for students who completed at least one year of college coursework.
