Types of Binders

Binders are ideal for students or business associates. They hold important papers, documents and projects. A binder is typically a cover with rings or clasps. Papers can only stay in the binders if they have holes. The holes will slip onto the rings or clasps of the binder. Sometimes, binders will come with additional pockets, a student dictionary, calculator or writing paper. There are different types and sizes of binders.
  1. Vinyl Binders

    • These are the sturdiest and most economical choice for students. Students can use them because they can toss them around in their messenger bags or backpacks. Most binders have a plain cover, while others may have art on them. Businesses may also use these kinds of binders. Some will even display a business name or logo on them. Vinyl binders are also ideal for various project ideas. Since they're relatively inexpensive, a business won't feel as though it is wasting money on buying more than one.

    Poly Plastic Binders

    • Poly plastic binders are also another economical choice for businesses. They come with a softer cover, which means you can easily tuck them in a brief case or tote bag. These binders won't be in the way of books or other folders. There's typically a choice of poly plastic ring binders, poly plastic binders with tabs, or custom-made poly plastic catalog binders. These are ideal for creating business presentations, keeping important documents or creating an idea for a store catalog.

    Faux Leather Binders

    • These binders have the look and feel of real leather but at half the price. The padding will keep important documents and papers safe from coffee spills or wet weather. Businesses typically use these types of binders to protect presentations and important documents. Faux leather binders add a touch of class and luxury.

College students (especially those studying art) may be interested in using a faux leather zippered binder. They come equipped with writing paper and compartments for pens, a calculator, rulers and other essentials. There are also rings that can hold a student's notes and homework.
