Find out when the deadline are, and whether the literature review or methodology are due to be handed in at different dates. Check the word requirement. Make clear notes of your research. Organize these notes in a methodical way. Take a note of all the resources you use at the time. If you neglect to do this, you will have a laborious task at the end of your dissertation.
Write the sections as you go. Do not leave all the writing until the end, as this will be a daunting task, and your notes will not be so easy to organize or to follow. Begin with the literature review, where you read and comment on the existing work on your subject. Spend time preparing a tight hypothesis that withstands scrutiny. Check this with your tutor.
Write about the methodology you have used. Organize your work into chapters. Write a short abstract, which should succinctly summarize your dissertation. Finally, complete a reference section, conforming with the approved referencing system. Proofread your work and bind it according to specifications.
