The United States requires physical therapists to graduate from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). PUCMM's program is not CAPTE-accredited.
While a PUCMM degree might demonstrate educational background in physical therapy, it will not fulfill the requirements for licensure. To become a licensed physical therapist in the US, an individual would need to complete a CAPTE-accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. A foreign-educated physical therapist might need to take additional steps like credential evaluations and potentially even further education to meet US standards.
