How to Obtain FAFSA Applications

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form used to award federal and state financial aid to students attending most colleges and universities. Prospective applicants will need the prior year's earning statements and tax documents, as well as basic personal information and forms of identification (driver's license, Social Security number) For students claimed as dependents, your parents or guardians will need to supply the same documentation. If students do not fill out this form by the required deadline, then they lose their opportunities for aid that semester. Students can obtain the application from online, a financial aid adviser or counselor, or from the Federal Student Aid Information Center.
