How to Complete My FAFSA Application

The United States government offers loan and grant money to college students to help them complete their education. According to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid website, Stafford Loans are low-interest loans issued by the government that do not have to be repaid until after graduation. Pell Grant money is awarded based on financial need, full- or part-time student status, and school attendance costs. Unlike a Stafford Loan, Pell Grant money does not need to be repaid, the site says.

To determine aid eligibility, students must fill out a form that can be found on the FAFSA website.
