Gather research on inclusive education. Visit your public library and local bookstores to ask the clerks there for any suggestions on books and recent scholarly articles from academic publications regarding this subject. Also interview local school principals, school board members and university education department directors. Ask them why they believe inclusive education is important in the development of a well-rounded educational experience for students.
Develop an angle for your discussion. If you're leading a group discussion on inclusive education, meet with group members to figure out what aspects of inclusive education you'll examine during the discussion. Ask each person to write down five ideas that pertain to inclusive education. Research those ideas and then make a presentation based on your research. Finally, narrow the ideas down to three and then assign some book titles to the group so they can prepare for the discussion.
Prepare to give a speech to a larger audience by writing out and rehearsing your speech with family members or friends. After you rehearse the speech, ask each person where they think you could improve, and then write their suggestions down for later reference.
