At Seton Hall University, students can obtain a master's in diplomacy and international relations. Located in Charles Town, West Virginia, is the American Military University. Here students can obtain their master's degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution. Students must have a bachelor's degree in some form of social sciences in order to apply for the program and can take courses on line or on campus after acceptance. The program consists of 36 credits to qualify for graduation. Some courses students can expect to encounter are International Relations Theory, Comparative Defense Policies, and even Government and Security in Korea.
The London School of Economics and Political Science offers a Ph.D. program in international relations for both residential and international students. Though the program is not offered online, students can enter into the program and find student housing on campus. The international relations program has been around since 1924 and offers education from world-class professors who have studied international relations in Africa, the Middle East and Korea. Each student has the opportunity to sign up for extensive research projects and attend training seminars on conducting international relations research projects. Students will enter into research workshops and each student is required to complete at least one of the thematic research workshops in order to graduate.
