The analyst meets with company officials and develop relationships and he needs math, computer and problem solving skills.This is a fast-paced, stress-driven position that requires attention to detail. There is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analysts) exam that financial analysts take which helps gain employment. The exam focuses on familiarity with investment terms and accounting practices.
