Writing a thesis is often a requirement for completing a master's degree program. The thesis is the final, written product of a research project that can take multiple semesters to finish. Theses are intended to be original in content and require a great deal of analysis and specificity. There are formatting variations from degree program to program, but you can follow some general principles. You can easily use varying headers for separate chapters or sections of a thesis.
