Find out what percentage of the grade each assignment is by asking the teacher. Larger assignments, such as tests, are likely to weigh more than smaller assignments, like homework.
Multiply the grade you got on the assignment by its percentage. For example, if you got an 88 on an assignment that is worth 50% of your grade, you would multiply 88 by .5 to get 44.
Add up all the values of the individual assignments to get your grade. Remember, your grade will appear low if you still have more assignments left. That's because the percentages do not yet add up to 100.
Convert your grade to a grade point average (GPA) or a letter grade, depending on the system that your school uses.
