Indicate exact duplication of the review by enclosing the words in double quotation marks.
Format quotations of the review that exceed 40 words as an indented block of text. Indent the first and all following lines of text. Exclude the double quotation marks in the text block.
Include date the review was published in parentheses following the author's name whenever directly referencing the author's work in direct quotation within a sentence. Place the page numbers referenced in parentheses at the end of the sentence.
Place the authors name, date of publication and the page numbers in parentheses after any section paraphrasing the review. If page numbers are unavailable in an electronic publication, utilize paragraph numbers.
Always cite the work immediately following a quotation or paraphrase in parentheses and continue the sentence as normal with all sentence punctuation (commas, colon, periods and question marks) coming after the parentheses.
Provide the name of the author. List the last name first and follow with the author's initials.
Place the year of publication in parenthesis immediately following the authors name and close with a period.
Type out the title of the review in sentence case. Only the first letter of the first word in the sentence and proper nouns get capitalized.
Place the title of the medium being reviewed preceded by the words "Review of" and the type of medium being reviewed. For example, [Review of the movie Agrarian Utopia]. Be sure to end the section with a period.
Close the citation with the name of the publication in which the review appeared. Note the publication volume number, issue number and the pages where the review is found.
