How To Earn an Early Childhood Associate's Degree Online

Early childhood education focuses on children from birth through the age of 7 or 8 (depending on the state). An associate's degree in early childhood education will allow a person to work with children in daycares, preschools and elementary schools. In most states, a person with an associate's degree can only be an assistant teacher at a preschool or an elementary school. Some states allow those with associate's degrees to teach preschool and/or substitute teach at the elementary level.
