How to Practice Public Speaking in an Online Classroom

Continuing education via an online campus is effective for those who have families and children, a full-time career or prefer more flexibility with their educational choices. Public speaking in an online classroom can be challenging because you are not technically speaking before a physical audience. A live audience often encourages presenters through body language, facial expressions and attentiveness, a luxury you don't have online. Still, you can integrate the knowledge you have learned in class and apply it to a video presentation to be self-reviewed before submitting the public speaking assignment for a grade.
