Online learning requires basic computer expertise. Online learning involves navigating web pages, participation in discussion forums, sending attachments via email and uploading documents online.
With online learning, there isn't a regular schedule for attending class and handing in assignments. Therefore, it requires a lot of self-motivation from students.
There is no direct instruction. Online classes are better environments for people who work well independently and require little to no guidance when learning new material.
Professor and peer interactions will be entirely online. Students do not meet regularly with their professor to get help.
