Online Wind Energy Degrees

The U.S. wind industry installed almost 10,000 megawatts of new wind generation capacity last year, enough to power 2.4 million homes. By 2030, wind power could account for as much as 20 percent of U.S. electricity generation. The expected growth in the industry will create jobs for wind energy technicians, engineers and researchers. Many educational institutions across the country offer certificate and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees in wind power. A few of them offer online programs.
