The International Sports Sciences Association, which specializes in fitness education, offers a sports nutrition certification built on the concept, "You are what you eat." Students receive a textbook, a glossary documenting the physical and mental impact of foods and supplements, and a course book about vitamin supplementation. The final seven-part exam is taken at home and sent back to the school for grading. Students have up to two years to complete all required coursework and receive a certificate.
