In order to be admitted to veterinary school, you will need to submit transcripts showing that you have successfully completed all the required courses. You will also need to take the GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) and achieve a satisfactory score.
Once you have been accepted into veterinary school, you will need to complete four years of study. This coursework will cover a variety of topics, including animal anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and disease. You will also need to complete a period of clinical experience working under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
Upon successful completion of veterinary school, you will be awarded your DVM degree. This will allow you to practice as a veterinarian in the state where you have been licensed.
