During your bachelor's degree program, you will learn about anatomy, embalming, funeral service management, and other related topics. You will also gain practical experience through internships and clinical training.
After you have completed your education and obtained your license, you can begin working as a mortician. Morticians typically work in funeral homes, where they prepare deceased individuals for burial or cremation, conduct funeral services, and assist families with funeral arrangements.
In addition to a bachelor's degree and a license, some states also require morticians to complete continuing education courses in order to maintain their license.
