The first item for applying to Drexel University Law School is to sign up for an account with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and register to take the Law School Admission Test, a requirement for applying to any law school. The test is administered in June, October, December, and February and as of 2010 costs $136. It is best to take it as early as possible since admission is rolling and applications get read as they are received. This will also give you time to re-take the test if necessary. For the class of 2010, the 25th percentile through the 75th percentile LSAT scores for admitted students ranged from 156 to163, and the median LSAT score was 160.
International and domestic applicants must use the Law School Data Assembly Service to apply to Drexel. This service is available through the LSAC service online and cost an additional $124 as of 2010. This service compiles all the data you need to apply. This includes LSAT scores, letters of recommendation (at least two), and undergraduate and graduate transcripts. A bachelors degree is required prior to gain admission to any law school. For the class of 2010, the 25th percentile through the 75th percentile grade point average scores for admitted students ranged from 3.09 to 3.70, with the median being 3.42. The Law School Data Assembly Service will forward a completed report to the school upon your request.
The application to Drexel Law School is accepted online only, and there is no fee to apply. The application can also be completed and transmitted through the LSAC's website.
The other data that you are required to submit on your own are a resume of your employment history, including part-time and summer employment, and an essay describing why you want to attend the Earl Mack School of Law.
