How to Study Law by Distance Learning

As technology becomes more and more a part of our every-day lives it offers more opportunities. For instance, distance-learning degrees and online college courses have become something of the norm in society. Some schools may even offer law or prelaw degrees to distance-learning students. However, a distance-learning degree is no easier to earn than a regular law degree.

Instructions

    • 1

Find a college with a distance-learning degree in law. Since location isn't as much of an issue, you could theoretically attend one of these schools anywhere, as long as distance learning is an option. Find schools on the Internet that offer a distance-learning law program. Call the schools that qualify to find the one/s that suit you best.

    • 2

Find out what the requirements are for a distance learner to graduate. There may be a certain set of requirements you'll have to meet that are different from those for on-campus students. Many schools have certain residency requirements that may be a major problem if the school is far away.

    • 3

Apply to the college of your choice as a distance-learning student. Earn acceptance to the school. Follow your classes, turn in papers and homework, and fulfill all that's required of you to get your law degree.
