Dual Law Degrees

Also referred to as a joint degree program, a dual law degree combines a juris doctor (JD) program with a master's or professional degree in a different subject area. These programs allow students to earn two advanced degrees in a shorter period of time than it would take to earn them separately. They also provide graduates with the opportunity to apply their legal training in other areas, such as business, international relations or public policy. Students typically need to meet the admission standards for both degree programs.
