Students in the UK who have completed a first degree in biological science, medicine or pharmacy are eligible to enroll in an MSc in clinical pharmacology program. Some schools require students to have earned first or upper second class honors in their first degree in order to qualify.
Some schools offering MSc programs in clinical pharmacology go beyond requiring a first degree, and prefer to admit students who are already practicing doctors, pharmacists or medical personnel.
Foreign students who are interested in enrolling in an MSc in clinical pharmacology might be required to complete an entrance examination proving their competency in the English language. Some students might be required to complete a course in English before gaining enrollment into such a program.
