Graduates of a four-year, accredited college or university are welcome to apply to one of Longwood's master's programs, provided they have achieved a minimum grade-point average of 2.75 or a minimum mean score on two out of three parts of the GRE exam. The college will also consider applicants who have attained at least a 3.5 GPA on six hours of Longwood graduate courses, which they have taken in the last 12 months as a non-degree registrant. Two recommendations and a personal essay are also required.
Depending on the status of the student seeking admission, there may be more specific requirements. International students, for example, must have a health insurance plan before arriving at Longwood.
