Read Spanish newspapers, periodicals, short stories and books. Pick readings for your enjoyment and to expand your current Spanish vocabulary. Try to pick a book that you are comfortable reading, do not try to pick a book that is beyond your reading level.
Listen to audio and videotape materials in Spanish. Try to guess the general meaning of the audio. After hearing the entire audio try to recall as many specific details from the recording. Most local libraries will have audio and videotape materials for you to use.
Review your old tests and worksheets from any previous Spanish class you took. Focus on the mistakes you made in grammar and vocabulary. Try to learn from the mistakes by consulting textbooks to identify the mistake you made.
Rest the night before the test and try to stay relaxed during the test. Do not leave any questions blank during the exam, but try to guess the ones you do not know. You are not penalized for wrong questions, so guessing can only boost your score.
