What is the GPA you need to get into SDSU?

To be admitted to San Diego State University (SDSU) as a freshman, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

* Complete the 15-unit college preparatory "a-g" pattern with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

* Earn at least an overall "C" average (2.0 GPA) in the "a-g" pattern courses; there is no overall grade-point average cut-off for admission.

* Complete at least 11 college preparatory "a-g" pattern units during the senior year, 7 of which must be "b-f" courses.

* Complete 2 years of a foreign language (in the same language).

* Complete 2 years of laboratory science (including biology and chemistry).

* Complete 4 years of mathematics (including Algebra II and geometry).

* Complete 1 year of visual or performing arts.

Additionally, applicants are encouraged to take 4 years of English and the most rigorous college preparatory courses available in mathematics, science, foreign language, and social studies.
