Do you need a high school diploma to be fashion designer?

While not strictly required, a high school diploma is almost always a prerequisite for getting into fashion design programs at colleges and universities. These programs are generally the best path to a successful career in fashion design. So, while you technically *could* try to learn on your own and build a career without one, it significantly limits your opportunities.
