What GCSEs do you need to become an architect?

While specific GCSE requirements vary slightly between universities, you'll generally need a strong foundation in maths, English and science subjects to apply for architecture at university. A good grade in design and technology or art is also highly advantageous and often a requirement.

Don't expect a precise list of *required* GCSEs as universities assess applications holistically. However, strong grades in the subjects listed above significantly improve your chances.
