What is cum laude at Wheaton College?

At Wheaton College, cum laude is an academic distinction awarded to seniors who have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.61 or higher. Cum laude is the second highest academic honor after summa cum laude and before magna cum laude.

Students who graduate with cum laude are recognized at Commencement and have the distinction noted on their diplomas.
