Harvard Business School

• Coranked as the No. 1 business college in the country by "U.S. News and World Report" in 2010, Harvard Business School has been preparing students for careers in business since the early 20th century. The school offers a four-year undergraduate degree, a two-year master of business administration degree and two doctoral degrees in business---a doctor of business administration and a Ph.D. in business. During the first term of the MBA program, students take classes in finance, leadership, organization, marketing, and technology. During the second term of the first year, students take classes in entrepreneurship, strategy, economy, finance and corporate accountability. The doctoral programs can be completed in four or five years including a two-year residency.

Stanford Graduate School of Business

• The Sloan School of Management at MIT in Boston, ranked the third-best business school in the U.S. in 2010 by "U.S. News and World Report," teaches students with a global approach, focusing on technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and ethics. The Sloan School offers an MBA, MBA for executives, master of finance, master of science in management studies, a Ph.D. and undergraduate program. The MBA programs integrate the latest technology and principles and take students two years to finish. The master of finance takes one year, prepares students primarily for careers in finance and educates about 30 students per year. The PhD program teaches research and teaching practices, while incorporating principles in advanced management and additional business practice.
