The ranking was assembled by collecting information from The Higher Education Statistics Agency concerning student entrance data, student to faculty ratios, university investment in academic services and facilities, honors degrees and students prospects post-graduation.
  1. Cambridge University

    • The Cambridge University Economics Department offers one undergraduate degree and four post-graduate degrees.

      To apply for admission, the applicant must submit a completed application to the admissions by February of the year of anticipated matriculation. An applicant must have achieved A-level in Mathematics in addition to having a well-rounded education that has focused on academic versus vocational studies, such as in Business Studies or Accounting. The department lists a number of readings covering macroeconomics, microeconomics, quantitative methods, political and sociological aspects of economics, British economic history and information on calculators and computers as suggested prerequisites for the prospective undergraduate applicant.
