Write an outline of your report on wolves, to set up how your paper will flow. Sections include an introduction with hypothesis, material and methods, results, discussion and the conclusion.
Find sources to back-up your research on wolves. Use scientific journals, such as the Journal of Animal Science or Society and Animals, or check out scientific books on wolves at your local library. Include these resources in the reference section at the end of your report.
Write your introduction. Include your hypothesis, information on how you hope to prove your hypothesis (through experimentation and previous studies) and the reasons behind the importance of this topic.
Write the materials and methods section of the paper. Include information on how the experiment was conducted, what tools were used and how the data was analyzed.
Explain the results of the experiment, in the next section of the report. Use charts and graphs to further illustrate the outcome of your study.
Write the discussion portion of the paper. Describe whether the research confirmed or refuted your hypothesis, and why you think this occurred. Explain the actual findings of the study in clear and understandable language.
Write the final part of the report, the conclusion. Reiterate your hypothesis and your findings, but keep it brief, as this is merely a summary of the entire paper.
