    Stanford: School of Engineering

    • Stanford's School of Engineering ranked #2 in "US News and World Report" in engineering in 2010. The National Research Council, however, ranked Stanford #1 in Electrical Engineering. As of 2010, tuition costs $39,840 per year. Stanford's School of Engineering has about 4,000 students, as of 2010.     University of California Berkeley: College of Engineering

    • The College of Engineering at the University of California Berkeley ranked #3 in engineering in "US World and News Report" in 2010. For the 2010-2011 school year, undergraduate tuition was $6,230.75 for in-state students and $17,670 for out-of-state students. Berkeley engineering alumni helped create the microelectronics that helped make the Silicon Valley, while others helped build structures like Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge.

    • Georgia Tech's College of Engineering is the largest U.S. College of Engineering. The college ranked #4 in engineering in "US World and News Report" in 2010.
