Log onto GaBookstore.com. Ga Bookstore is a website that sells used college textbooks to students of Georgia State, John Marshall, and St. Leo universities.
Scroll down until you see the box marked "Buy/Rent Textbooks." To search by course click on the "Select by Course" tab. Searching by course lets you search for textbooks based upon the courses offered in the upcoming semester.
Click "Go" after you have finished searching for textbooks via the "Search by Course" tab. You will then be prompted to enter the department of the course you are taking. Entering the department will bring up the course numbers offered.
Click on your courses number to bring up a list of books filed by section number and author. Select the section number and author that corresponds to the class you are taking. A list of required and recommended books along with their new and used prices will appear below.
Click on the blue banner at the top of the page labeled "Georgia Bookstore" to return to the homepage. Click on the "Search by Title/Author" tab within the "Buy/Rent Textbook" box. The "Search by Title/Author" tab lets you search for textbooks more specifically than the "Search by Course" tab.
Click "Go" once you have entered in the title or author of your book. A list of books along with their new and used prices will be displayed on the next page.
Log onto Amazon.com. Amazon is an online marketplace that sells everything from textbooks to electronics.
Click on the "Department Search" tab located next to the "Shop all Departments" tab. Select "Books" and click the orange "Go" button on the right.
Navigate to the right side of the screen and click on the tab labeled "Textbooks." Clicking on the "Textbooks" tab will open up the textbook section of Amazon.com.
Enter in the information of the book you are looking to purchase. Amazon lets you search for textbooks by title, author, and ISBN number. Enter in your information and click any of the "Go" buttons to be redirected to a new page filled with new and used books that match your search terms.
