The University of Maryland, like all other accredited state colleges in the United States, has a webmail system that gives every student and faculty member at UMD an email address ending with @umd.edu. The email for the University of Maryland is handled by the University's Office of Information Technology. Students using UMD email can write, send and file their emails within the webmail system. It's important to never share your UMD email password with anyone.

Type in your university-generated directory ID and password. Select "Login."
