How to Find a List of Scholarships

Scholarships are granted to students based on things such as merit, athleticism, religion and ethnicity, among other criteria. Virtually all colleges, the state you go to school in and the federal government provide students with thousands of scholarships from which to choose. Lists for these scholarships can be found with a college adviser, online or at a high school career guidance office.

Google "scholarship lists" to find websites with available scholarship listings. These websites usually have a diverse list of scholarships in detail. Many will allow you to apply for the scholarships on the site or direct you to the appropriate links to do so. Add words such as "ethnic-based" to find scholarships lists fitting specific criteria.
