Kurt Vonnegut was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction on three occasions for 1969's Slaughterhouse Five ('God Bless You, Mister Rosewater' was not nominated), 1973's Breakfast of Champions, and 1976's Jailbird—but he never actually won it.
