Mary Ann Naokwegijig-Corbiere is a Chippewa language storyteller, author, and speaker. She is of the Anishinaabe people of the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation in Ontario, Canada. She has published over 20 award-winning books, primarily intended for children and young adults. Her work combines traditional Anishinaabe teachings and stories with contemporary issues. She has also developed educational resources and programs to help foster a greater understanding of Indigenous cultures and knowledge.
