There have been over 200 Comic Cons held around the world since the first one was held in 1970 in San Diego, California. The largest and most well-known Comic Con is San Diego Comic-Con, which is held annually in July and attracts over 130,000 attendees from around the world. Other notable Comic Cons include New York Comic Con, WonderCon, and C2E2.
