Writing & Organization:
* Pencils: #2 pencils, at least 24.
* Erasers: Pink erasers are usually preferred.
* Pencil Sharpener: Hand-held or a crank sharpener. Avoid electric sharpeners unless specifically allowed.
* Pens: Black or blue ink, may specify ballpoint or gel. Check the list!
* Ruler: 12-inch ruler
* Colored Pencils: A 12-24 count box.
* Markers: Washables are recommended, 8-10 count.
* Crayons: 24-count box.
* Highlighters: 2-3 different colors.
* Glue Sticks: 2-3 large glue sticks.
* Scissors: Safety scissors.
* Binder: 1-inch or 1 1/2-inch binder, depending on class requirements.
* Binder Paper: Wide-ruled, college-ruled, or composition notebook paper, depending on teacher preference. A large pack.
* Notebook(s): Spiral notebooks (1 subject or composition) - usually at least 2-3. Check your list!
* Folders: Plastic folders with pockets (at least 2-3, maybe subject-specific).
* Pocket Folders: Several, to keep papers organized.
Other Supplies:
* Backpack: Large enough to carry all supplies comfortably.
* Lunchbox: Insulated is best.
* Water Bottle: Reusable water bottle.
* Book Cover: To protect textbooks.
Optional but Helpful:
* Dry-erase markers: For personal whiteboards if used in class.
* Index cards: 3x5 or 4x6.
* Calculator: A basic calculator may be needed for math, check the list.
* Pencil case: To keep supplies organized in the backpack.
* Earbuds or headphones: For individual listening activities on computers or tablets (check school policy).
