The second book printed in English was "The Recuyell of the Historyes of Troye" by Raoul Lefèvre, printed in 1475 by William Caxton.
It was the first book printed in English in England. The first English-language book, "The Dictes or Sayings of the Philosophers," was printed in Bruges, Belgium in 1477.
