1. Be prepared. This means studying the material that will be covered on the test. For the Aspire test, this includes reading, writing, math, and science. For the PSAT, this includes reading, writing, math, and critical thinking.
2. Read the directions carefully. Make sure you understand what you are being asked to do on each question.
3. Answer the questions to the best of your ability. Don't guess unless you have to.
4. Be mindful of your time. Don't spend too much time on any one question.
5. Check your work. Make sure you have answered all the questions and that your answers are correct.
6. Stay calm. Don't get stressed out if you don't know the answer to a question. Just move on to the next one.
7. Remember it's just a test. Your scores on these tests do not define you and are often used to measure college/career readiness only.
