How IX standard fail student can appear for SSC Mumbai board exam?

A student who failed the IX standard exam in the Mumbai SSC board cannot directly appear for the SSC (Secondary School Certificate, equivalent to 10th grade) exam. They must first clear their IX standard exams. They'll need to either:

* Repeat IX Standard: This is the most common route. They'll re-enroll in IX standard and study the curriculum again, taking the exams at the end of the academic year.

* Appear for the supplementary exams (if available): Some boards offer supplementary exams for students who fail. Check with the Mumbai SSC board directly to see if this option is available and what the eligibility criteria are.

Only after successfully passing the IX standard exams can a student appear for the SSC (X standard) exams in the Mumbai board.
