Is UAAOE a fake accreditation agency?

The Universal Accreditation Association for Online Education (UAAOE) is an unaccredited accreditation body. This means that it is not recognized by the United States Department of Education or by any other legitimate accrediting body. As such, degrees and credits earned from institutions accredited by the UAAOE are unlikely to be recognized by other educational institutions or employers.
