In this game, preschoolers work together to keep blown-up balloons afloat. Arrange the children in large, spread out circle. Throw a blown-up balloon into the air. When the balloon makes its way toward the ground, the person who is closest to it has to hit it and send it back up into the air. Any body party can be used to send the balloon flying--hands, elbows, heads, knees and so forth. If the balloon falls on the ground, the person who it is nearest to sits out, as he did not hit the balloon back in the air. The last person standing wins the game.
Preschooler's practice their aim with this physical activity game. Set out three or four orange traffic cones on the ground in a horizontal line. Indicate a point for players to stand on by placing a piece of duct tape on the ground about 3 to 5 feet away from the cones. Split players into groups of two. One at a time, each player is given three hula hoops to try to toss onto one of the orange cones while standing on the duct tape. For each hula hoop that lands on a cone, a point is awarded. The team that earns the most points wins the game.
Have kids compete in a relay while pretending to be bunnies. Determine a starting and a turn around point for the relay by placing two orange cones 10 feet apart. Divide the group into two teams. On your mark, the first person on each team hops from the starting point to the turn around point and then hops back to the starting point. Upon returning to the starting point, the next player may commence in his leg of the relay. The first team to have all players complete the relay is declared the winners of the game.
