Why did calpurnia fuss over the children?

Calpurnia, Atticus Finch's housekeeper in Harper Lee's novel "To Kill a Mockingbird," did not fuss over the children, Jem and Scout. Calpurnia was a caring and responsible woman who looked after the children but was not overly fussy or overprotective. She provided a stable and nurturing environment for Jem and Scout, ensuring they were well-cared for and respected the rules and values of the Finch household.
