When can a child legally quit school in nebraska?

Nebraska state law dictates the following provisions as to when a student may drop out of school:

- Students under 16 may only drop out of school with written parental permission.

- Between the ages of 16 and 18, a student may drop out of school without parental permission if they have obtained a court order.

- At age 19, a student can quit school without meeting any other provisions.
