Instructions

    • 1

Fill a pot with the amount of water that your science experiment requires.

    • 2

Turn on the stove top burner to the highest heat setting. Your burner should be located near the booth or area where you are conducting your science experiment, as the water could drop in temperature if you have to move the pot a long distance after it reaches boiling temperature.

    • 3

Place the pot on the stove top burner. The water will take several minutes to boil, depending on the type of pot, amount of water, and quality or type of burner being used. If your science experiment has time restraints, cover the pot with a lid in order to speed up the boiling process.
